Just a Good Old Boy-

Just a good old boy
they say I am a real Mccoy

Just a good old boy
trying to have a little fun
Took it too far
now the Sheriff's got me on the run
Starting to feel very glum
Sheriff's got me in His sights with his smoking gun.

Just a good old boy
filled with alot of joy
now the sheriff after me
got to play it coy.
changing my name
just call me Roy.

Have to hide out, living a life of a roustabout.
Drifting around without any clout.
Just a good old boy, never should have fought
and punched him in the snout.
Let this teach you a lesson
just being a good old boy
just isn't worth the messing.
