Though my name is Russel Zia, I am better known as Russel on the premises. My parents are Mr. A. S. M. Zia-Ur Rahman and Mosammat Mushida Akhtar. I am the E-mail Executive of the Internet Department. Parts of my responsibilities include off-line/on-line system management, trouble-shooting, hardware management & repairing, networking of computers. I did a training on Linux Operating System from Nepal. Things that I like most are to enjoy life, music, badminton and flying kites. |
My full name is Shabbir Ahmed. I am with the Drik Internet Department, working as the System Administrator. I was born in the family of Late Rafique Uddin Ahmed and Mrs Shamsun Nahar Ahmed. I have completed M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Dhaka University in 1993 (held in 1996), obtaining 1st class marks and 1st position. I developed some innovative computer cards for Beximco and Computer Services in Bangladesh. Now, apart from my work at Drik, I work as a Lecturer of the Computer Science Department at the Dhaka University. |

My name is Sk. Moinul Haque. I am the System Engineer of the Internet Department. Child of Mr. Sk. Mozammel Haque and Mrs. Momtaj Ara Begum, I have completed my B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BUET with a First Class Marks (CGPA 3.37 on a scale of 4.00) in 1997. I love reading novels and science fiction, playing table tennis, badminton, football and cricket, listening to English, Bangla and Hindi songs and hiking through archaeological and beautiful places. I don't talk much, and also don't like people who do so . I have joined Drik to fulfil my cherished boyhood dream into reality. So you can tell my being here is part of that process. |
Well, here is Partha and I work as a Multimedia Designer and Programmer. My parents are Late P.C. Sarker and Monica Sarker. I did my MSS in International Relations from the Dhaka University. I created a multimedia presentation for the Board of Investment in Bangladesh and have designed websites for a few other organisations. I am a member of the National Committee for producing the first ever Bangla Encyclopaedia in CD-ROM by Asiatic Society. I did a Post Graduate Diploma on Interactive Multimedia, in the Netherlands and completed a Graduate Study Programme in the United Nations Office at Geneva. The dream I cherish is to establish a multimedia school in Bangladesh and I am at Drik as a part of that movement. I like looking through books on design, among many other things, and my greatest dislike is intellectual hypocrisy. |

Howdy! I am Shamim Shahriar. I am the Multimedia Executive. A loving child of Mrs Rubia Sarder and Mr. S.A. Sarder, I have completed the Masters Programme (1994) from the Department of English. Funny, isn't it! Studying English Language and Literature, working with Computers!! Anyway, I have worked in many other fields too — as surveyor, editor of a regular publication, rapporteur and documentalist in different workshops, have facilitated some too. As for my liking, I can give away a lot many things just for a good adda (oh, where are the golden days!), travelling and reading. I hate hypocrisy, non-punctuality and gossiping. Along with computers, I have another fascination which is photography. Drik has given me the opportunity to combine these two. I like the work environment here, which is another good reason for my being in Drik. |
