It didn't make sense, it just didn't make sense,
When I heard the old story told...
No, I just could not see, how one man could be
Cut from so different a mold.
That he'd take such a stand against angry hands,
For something so simple as love...
Oh I'll grant that he proved,
that the world could be moved
By the words of one single man
But there had to be more than this, to die for
Like he did, at hi enemies hands.
Instead of cursing, he should them mercy, he just said
"Father, forgive.."
And with out any hate, he accepted his fate,
For Something so simple as love
Then the light of understanding, struck me dep inside
This was the son of the Living God, and for such as me
He died....
For the sins of the many, Father sacrificed his son.
For something so simple, as love.
And it hurt, and I cried, when I realized he died
For something so simple as love,
For something so simple as love......
