The Robstory
Well, by popular demand I've added this "all about me" page. Although it always made sense to add a page about me to my own site, I never really thought about it. But.. where to begin..
I was born in Portland, Oregon on August 8th, 1974. I grew up in the Milwaukie/Clackamas area with my mother.. she divorced my dad when I was only 2 (see pic) and had a nonstop array of boyfriends afterward.. to this day I call no one "dad!" Because of the lack of a male role model and father figure, I was quite shy and introverted.. until high school!
It was actually in 1987 when I was first taken to The Rocky Horror Picture Show (RHPS) that I truly began to become who I am today! It took a few years but I became less shy (in every way) and more outgoing. I also attended Rex Putnam (Putz Rectum) High in Milwaukie where I didn't really excell in anything except for drama. I made many friends between RHPS and high school. I also had a fondness for music, specifically classic rock (bands I loved in my childhood) and metal and always fancied myself a singer! I was in a high school band (Motion Picture) and spent a few years fronting local "grit rock" band Boom Bust! Who knows what the cards hold next..
As far as Rocky, I will go back to make an appearance now and then.. I mean, RHPS and the people I met there helped me to discover myself during my teenage years. I've learned many life lessons during my time there.. I owe ALOT to it! Viva la Rocky!
