DAL OUTLOOK

By "The Repo Man" Dee Walker
Once again I give my "OutLook" on the DAL, which never seems to amaze me. First let's start out with...

The Commish Report

Now as you all know, early this year I started out dissin' the Report from Williams pretty hard. Well, I said a while ago that would cease, and damnit after seeing these last few reports...IT HAS CEASED. Williams is doing THE BEST Report in the IWA hands down...the most consistent, innovative, and fun report to read that I know of. And I'm also in the Infamous QML with Jeff Rice...but there's just nothing quite like the DAL report. Shit, I'd love to see what Williams would do with the talent that the QML possesses, if they were in the DAL as well. It'd be mayhem. The Tournaments keep getting better and better as well. The Mr. DAL tourney isn't that wide open, but the winner will definantly deserve it.

Comments & Activity

The May 2000 cycle produced some of the best comments I've seen in about 5 cycles in the DAL...maybe more than that. Lots of great angles being worked, good roleplaying by all the managers, lots of direction and the stuff in the trash talk section coincides with what's going on in the report so it's like a real fed. And not all JACKED UP, how some IWA leagues are. Also with all the new blood up in here, and I'm talking about the NEW "veteran" blood, it's gonna be nothing but HOT comments from here on out. I'm hyped.

Tag Team Derby

Believe it or not, the DAL "needed" this type of competition...and no, I'm not just saying that because Legend & Walker are leading Group A. This is a lot of fun for me personally and I think one should be held every year. It looks like in Division A it's pretty muched locked up with "moi's" team...but in Gruop B, 3 teams could switch positions at the top at any time and take it...either way, The winner from Group A is comin out on top...now can you dig it?

Top 5 Wrestlers for May 2000
[This was Rex Swanson's idea that he thought would be good for this page...based on my unbias opinion, really, I mean I'm gonna be unbias :o) ]

1. Drazen De La Rocha [Retained league and called his own shot by sayin he'd do so...now that's impressive]
2. Lt. Bobby Jacobs [3 Titles in one cycle, plus he talked a good game in his interview with his Army buddies. Jacobs is THE DAL's hottest wrestler in 2000 without a doubt.]
3. Pain [Pain is new, but already learning what it takes to win here...the last 3 cycles, 3 titles...and he can talk for days about the MOD of EDGE.]
4. Dangerous Daryl Bonilla [His talk overshadows his winnings now a dayz, but that doesn't mean he still ain't winning a lot. Add another regional to his title collection, and his claim to being the Greatness that is DDB. He makes my top 5 definantly]
5. Kirk Striker [This guy can't be shaken...largely overshadowed by stablemates, and other charismatic DAL'ers...Striker and his bro are gettin the job done. 2 titles in 1 cycle for Kirk definantly ain't bad and earns him a top 5 spot.]
