I felt so introspective tonight
Thinkin' ahead about my final hindsight
Did I make everymoment count
How much did I sit about
Doin' not the good I know to do

What will I say when I'm faced with His glory the saints
And the angels as I tell my story
Will the works I've accomplishedd be worthy of Heaven
What will I think lookin' back
What was gold what was dross
What was gain what was loss
What will stand what was feeling
And what will I change while my hearts still beating

20/20
So many thoughts fill up my mind
Look inside the word and I can't find
The promise of another day
Or how much longer I will stay
No one really knows how long they have


Band Note: Try to imagine that you're dead. At that moment, you'd have a pretty
clear view about what really counts! Looking back at your life, what
are the things that have lasted after your life? What things do you
regret spending even a single precious moment on? Will you be glad
you got a fancy car? Will you be glad you were thin? That you had a
successful career? Or will the things that count in eternity be how
well you got to know God. How many live you impacted and how you
treated other people. After all, hindsight is 20/20.
