If we keep doing the same old "get-an-easy-life" bullshit, we aren't going to have a life. We are polluting the air (I don't care what the statistics say, expecially when I can't tell the smog from the clouds), destoying our natural resources(rain forest anyone?), and we care about the present more than about the future.
We have asthma because of air pollution.( gas fumes, bon-piles consisting of hazardous materials, and roach shit from run down apartment complexes in the middle of big cities)
We have 80 yr. old women having kids they aren't going to live long enough to see go to the second grade. We have a brand new sex pill for people to spend there money on, instead of on things they need (like a new brain!). We have people caring about little things like the size of there tits and ass. What the hell have we become? We spend millions of dollars on stuff that is most likely going to give us cancer than trying to cure cancer!
We are the most powerful animal on the planet Earth. Yet, I cannot say we are the smartest. Sure, we got incredible technology, vast empires of steel and powerful bodies; but we also do stupid stuff that we don't need to do(ex. Napoleon target practice on the Sprinx, "safe" nuclear testing underground as if it isn't going to make the ground radioactive or anything) We need to start helping each other more. Doing the stuff that matters. We are all in this boat together, and no one can get off. We have to work together and make ourselves strong again. We hide behind ethnic backgrounds and religions. We must learn to except others and not try to change their ways if they aren't doing any harm. No one is evil because of the color of they're skin or the name of they're god. But not to say that we shouldn't be proud of our backgrounds; I am.
We are one race-humans. We were granted the use of this planet Earth to call our own. We have rivers, mountains, and islands of perfected beauty. Yet, we fail to be marveled by them as we once did. We misuse what we have struggled so hard to get. The Earth is our home; would you dump radioactive material into your bedroom? Well, we are doing the same thing. I think a good question is; why the hell do we even have radioactive material? We made a lot of it, if we didn't create all of it. But, we did make the A-Bomb. And what good is it for? Killing ourselves because if we use them we are all screwed. We must save our world. It may not happen over night, but it can if we want it to. We can change and mend our ways before it is too late. We are humans, I know we can.
