I moved to Southern California in September 1999, and am stationed at Point Mugu Naval Air Station. The base is located approximately 80 kilometres northwest of the Los Angeles mess, at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains. I try to avoid L.A. and have only been there 3 times, once on visa business for my wife, and 2 airport runs. I currently have 3 California pages: Natural Southern California (as opposed to the suburban sprawl), Natural California Hot Springs, and Miracle Hot Springs Preserve.
