Mic is a character from Aberrant. More specifically, Mic is an Elite from the DeVries agency.
Quick background on Aberrant: Aberrant is not really like any role playing game. It's AD&D meets
superhero's, but not cape-toating spandex-wearing super hero's, no, these are move-at-hyper-speed,
create-warp-holes, turn-invisible-and-can-your-ass kind of super heros. Super hero's in Aberrant
are actually called Novas, who channel quantum power through a node in their brain. Novas were just
regular people until something happened to make them errupt. See below for how my character errupted.
Usually Nova's have names, so they don't have to use their real names in event of things going bad.
Quick background on DeVries: DeVries has 2 companies, DeVries, and DeVries National Tatical System.
Elites like Mic who are mercenaries work for DVNTS. DeVries will take on any job it can knowingly
handle. . . for the right price. DeVries pays well, and has top weapons, healthcare, etc. etc. all
money that is earned by Nova's generally go towards life-accessories, such as parties, clothes, cars,
etc. A Elite never knows how long they'll be alive, so they make the best of it while they can.
Mic is a sarcastic chick with a love of shiney bad ass weapons (it's not the size that counts..., and
beer. (Is that not my character? Rock on. I didn't make her alcoholic though).
Mic is a mercenary with DeVries (if you didn't catch that earlier, slow poke). Mic's made it a policy
not to get attached or involved with anyone or anything, because sooner or later they end up dying. It
all started when her old Mercenary partner Cal (this is pre-Nova/DeVries days) was killed in a helicopter
accident while returning from a fishing trip. So incredibly caught up with remorse, sadness, and the
stupidity of the way he died, Mic errupted into her Nova powers. Ever since then Mic has sworn not to attach
herself to anything (other than shiney weapons and shiney beer cans!). She loves a good pint, but when push
comes to shove, it'll take her a lot to go against her contract. A lot more than a case of beer.
Mic's Nova name is Shooter, The Minna Shooter (The Everything Shooter). Mic's real name is Serena Oei, she's
Japanese-American, rather tall, black hair, black eyes, trim build, wears black, and sometimes red, clothing, 2
silver rings on her right thumb.
Some of Mic's Nova Powers are Claws (like Wolverine), Regeneration, Hyper-movement (running), and Copy-cat.
