I have admired Micky since 1986. During the Summer of 1987, I saw him walking past me to get ready to perform, and I froze. It was exciting, but he tried not to laugh at me, because I couldn't move a muscle, and I wouldn't be too surprised if my mouth was opened; I was embarrassed. During the Summer of 1997, I got to see Micky in person at the Monkee convention, and it was great. That time I didn't freeze. I had enough nerve to say "hi" to him. He said "hi" back, and I realized that he was a real sweet guy with a bit of shyness.
