Torq enters into the Temra castle with fear. He announced to Queen Maeve, "My gueen, I have some news about Kells... Lady has decided to stay in Kells longer than we have expected."
Maeve screamed, "No! This cannot be... I will not allow this. I must get rid of her."
Torq added, "But how? She is a superior fighter and hunter."
Queen Maeve gave Torq a dirt look, "This is why I need a plan." Then she ordered, "Torq, go and see more about what our little Lady is doing now." Torq bowed and left the castle. Maeve pouted and dropped into her throne.
In Kells, Lady was alone in the forrest hunting for food. She quietly tip-toed around a bunch of bushes until she saw and heard he leaves on the bushes rattle. Her eyes narrowed as she quickly grabbed her bow from her back and grabbed an arrow. Just before she shot an arrow, a bunch of kids jumped out from behind the bushes. Lady sighed, and the children knew they startled her tremendously, so one of them apologized, "Sorry, my lady. We are just playing in the forrest."
Lady sighed again, "It's alright. You, children, go on now. This is no place for you. Wild animals come here."
After the kids ran off, Lady continued her search for food. She didn't know that Torq was hiding behind a tree nearby. After he found out what Lady was doing in the forrest, he gave out an evil giggle and rushed back to the Temra castle. As soon as Torq returned to the Temra castle, he reported to Queen Maeve the news about Lady. The upset Maeve stood up and raised her Rune Sceptre in the air, and told her assistant, "If I want her gone forever, I'm going to have to do it myself, and she will go away gracefully."
Queen Mave and Torq giggled with evil tones as the green evil spell floated out of the Temra castle through the castle. The spell entered inside Lady's body. Seconds later, Lady started feeling different and started heading back to the Kells castle holding her stomach.
Aideen, the fairy, flew over to Lady crying, "Lady...Lady...Rohan sent me here. We got worried about you."
Lady gave Aideen a funny look, "I'm fine, Aideen. No need to worry."
The fairy announced, "It's Queen Maeve... Who knows what she can do to you."
After Lady rolled her eyes, she replied, "I said I'm fine. I'm not afraid of Qeen Maeve. So, you can go back to the castle and tell Rohan and the others that I will be fine."
Aideen cried, "No! Rohan told me I must stay with you at all times while you are in the forrest."
As the weary young lady was rubbing her bare forehead, she quietly mentioned, "I am finished huning for now. I need to be back at the castle for I need some rest."
The fairy smiled, "Alright then, I will follow you back."
Lady started walking again, but still didn't feel right about her body. Her walking stride was getting slower than usual. Aideen didn't notice anything, until minutes later when Lady's face was changing. The fairy gasped, "Lady, your face! You have lines underneath your eyes and around your mouth."
The nervous Lady scrambled to the pond to see her reflection, she couldn't believe what she saw, and screamed at the top of her lung, "I'm old!" The she looked at Aideen and screamed again, "Why amd I old?"
Aideen whined, "I don't know, my lady."
Lady Qucikly announced, "I must get back to the castle now. Net to talk to Cathbad." The she ordered, "Let's go on... Can't waste any more time."
As Lady was dragging her legs, Aideen asked, "Are you alright? You are looking very tired."
The quickly aging Lady answered, "I'm fine. I just want to get back to the castle, then I can rest." Minutes later, Lady's dark brown hair that was slicked back int a long ponytail was turning gray. Aideen was getting very worried, and she wanted to fly back to tell Cathbad about Lady, but she also wanted to mind Rohan's orders. Lady was getting weaker and found a humongous tree to lean on and take a short rest. As she was gasping for air, she announced, "Aideen, you must got get Cathbad. For I cannot move much longer."
The little fairy replied, "You must go further, my lady. We are almost there."
Lady gave Aideen a dirty look and continued strolling her way back to the castle of Kells. The gray hair was turning silver and half of her hair was falling out of her ponytail holder. Her hands were aging very quickly. She couldn't help looking at her hands, and screamed, "My hands! They look ugly! I have spots. Why can I see the veins so cleary?" Then Lady combed a loose piece of hair back away from her face, but it fell out of her head and into her hand. She screamed as loud as she could, then she cried, "My hair! Why is this happening to me?"
Aideen tried to calm her down, "Oh Lady, I'm sure Cathbad will take care of you when we get to the castle."
The old living Lady grawled through her teeth, "He better. I may not live to see the next day."
Minutes later, Lady and Aideen finally entered inside the castle of Kells. Lady had enough energy to walk inside the throne room. Angus was standing close by, so Lady grabbed his arm and he jumped and asked, "Who is this old lady?"
Lady couldn't talk anymore, she just gasped for a little bit of air the she fell right into Angus' arms. Angus repeated himself, "Who is this, Aideen?"
Aideen cried, "It's Lady. Someone put a spell on her." Then she flew over to Cathbad, the druid, "Can't you change her back? Please do something."
Cathbad ordered, "Clear the table and I'll see what I can do."
As Garrett and Ivar cleared off the table, Garrett pointed out, "I bet Maeve was responsible for all of this."
Rohan grabbled Lady out of Angus' arms and carried her to the table, "I'll lay her on the table for you, Cathbad. After he laid her down, he put his face close to her's and could feel a slight breeze hitting his face, then he happily announced, "She's still alive."
Cathbad exclaimed, "Good. This won't take long, then." Then he slowly waved his hands over Lady's body several times. Seconds later, her whole body was changing back to normal quickly. Lady woke up and noticed that all of her new friends were around her looking at her with releif. She quickly jumped up and checked her hands and her hair. She touched her face with her hands and screamed with deligh, "I'm me again! I'm not old anymore."
Angus and Garrett patted her on the back, and Rohan said, "Queen Maeve did this to you. You must be careful when you are alone."
Lady promised, "I'll be careful from now on. I will not let this Queen Maeve distroy me or my life."
