Seeing the Words

What's with these words?
I can't see them, only read them.
How come I never noticed they are black,
not white.
Put down in black and white?
No, because the white
is the space, the void,
where unseen feelings and thoughts
are put down.
It would be dangerous to see them
because our anger,
our joy
would be revealed,
and we could not repent
because
it's the truth,
the truth;
and we cannot deny the truth,
only hide it and cover it up
with ashes.
Try to erase it and everything
will be lost, because
you never bothered
to care.
