Frankenstein Misunderstood
by Ezra_and_Odie

Dear gentle giant,
How they shun you!
Are you not like them?
Do you not breathe the same
polluted air?
Do you not drink the same
tainted water?
Do you not walk the same
troubled step?
Do you not speak the same
profanity?
Do you not love the same
God?

Dear gentle giant,
I beseech, do not forsake me!
I regret the actions of my fellow men.
I have breathed the same
sullied air!
I have drunk from the same
poisoned water!
I have stumbled from the same
tormented steps!
And I have sinned against the one
omnipotent!

Do not you see?
We are all
Carved from
The one true bust.
