About the Webmistress
My name is Hilary Lynd.
I'm 13 years old
I'm from Ontario Canada
My favorite Harry Potter Character is Oliver Wood
I like music, art and good literature ;) !
I play violin, saxophone, I sing, and can play Hedwig's Theme on the Piano (but that's about it, except Fur Elise and my own compositions:))
I play badminton, run track, and work out at the YMCA whenever I have time
My hobbies are making web sites:), doing crafts and so on, writing stories (and HP Fanfiction) and reading. I like to hang out with my buds Alex, Emily, Tara, Amanda and Alayna. Shopping is fun too :)
On saturday mornings I always pull out the Condo Living and Comic Sections of the Toronto Star. I've always had an interest in interior design, but I don't plan to take it seriously.

I've always been a very artsy person. I love art and all kinds of music except for really heavy metal and country (well once in a while some country). Yes I do like classical music and I'm proud of it. I also love to write. Writing has always been my outlet when I didn't very very happy or I was extremly happy and just couldn't that feeling out. I hope to either be a journalist of a great author some day. Though, I might be a web designer instead of a journalist. My favorite school subjects are Art, Music, Drama & Dance and English. I hate Geography, it's really boring.
My favorite place in the entire world is Paris. I've been there twice and each time, I wished I could stay longer. Its such a beautiful city and the people there are so nice! Though my french is horrible, I really try when I visit France.
I first discovered Harry Potter at my school book fair. The lady who came to present the books said Harry Potter was an excellent read and I thought: "Well I love fantasy/adventure books so why not?" Finding books that i like was always very hard because I've always been a very picky reader. But its not because I didn't like to read, I've always loved reading i just had a high standard of what was a good book. After I got to Chapter Four: The Keeper of the Keys, I was hooked. Like many others I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I was 11 at the time and as i was waiting for the forth book I thought to myself: what if I don't like Harry Potter by the Time I'm 13? Will I think it's a little kid's booK? Well I'm more of a fan now than I was then and so i'm just crossing my fingers that I'll still love this book when I turn 15.
Thanks J.K. You've inspired me beyond my highest goals and have shown so many that It doesn't matter who you are, if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.
