1995 Jeep YJ

I bought this Jeep in May of 2004 and have since put no more than four thousand kilometers on it.  Prior to me, it was owned and driven by a lady who made a point of taking it for a complete lube job every 5 thousand kilometers.  I have only driven it for less than four months (I was abroad for two months over the summer, and was given a new vehicle in October) and, in that time, have not had a single mechanical issue with the vehicle.  The Jeep is in wonderful condition, save for minor external damage on the front right fender and bumper, due to a 5 km/h fender bender.  The damage is completely superficial, yet obvious, and I am offering the Jeep for a much lower price than I paid because of it.

The only reason I'm selling it is because I simply can't afford it to use it for my lengthy daily commute between Port Moody and UBC (about 3 hours a day of driving in total).  If gas money weren't an issue, I wouldn't dream of selling it.

Specifications:
  • 4.0 inline six cylinder engine (180hp 220trq)
  • Black exterior
  • Beige interior
  • Hardtop
  • Manual transmission
  • Brand new battery
  • Completely unmodified (even has original cassette player)
  • ~140 000 kms

Pictures:

(*Note these are terrible pictures that do the Jeep no justice)

**Pay specific attention to the extent of the damage, it's really quite minor and will have no effect on driving.

Problems:

  • Front, right fender/bumper damage.
  • The fuse for the horn needs replacing (may cost a couple dollars and a few minutes for your mechanic to fix).
  • The driver-side seatbelt need maintenance, it no longer stays locked.
  • A few scuffs and scratches around the key slots and throughout the paintjob from regular wear and tear.

I am asking $6300 for the Jeep.  I suggest you compare this price to other similar Jeeps to realize what a bargain this is.  Offers are welcome.  I'm looking for a fuel-efficient gas-miser, so a trade is also possible.
