Old Bastard Bylaws

      *   You must be 30 years old or older to become an instant Old Bastard Member.

       *    There is no Cadet Status.  A new 30 + Old Bastard will be considered a  Member or a Senior Old Bastard  upon confirmation of enrollment.

       *   A Pilot 21 - 29 years old may apply to Old Bastards as long as he is sponsored by a Senior Old Bastard and will become a Junior Old Bastard until he turns 30 years old.

       *   Only Senior Old Bastards can Sponsor Junior Old Bastards.

       *   Only Senior Old Bastards can Vote.

       *   A Member may go through Joint-Ops Basic Flight School to become a Senior Old Bastard but is not mandatory.

       *   There is no rank or command structure.  All Old Bastards are equally old, grouchy, and crotchety.

       *   Since Old Bastards is a CLUB and not a squad, All Pilots are welcomed whether they belong to a squad or not.

       *   There are no requirements.  Show up when you wish to fly.

       *   There are no rules other than having fun.

       *   There will be an Old Bastards Club gathering at least once a week.

       *   An Old Bastard will be awarded a One Night Stand for any achievement worthy of mention or recognition.

       *   An Old Bastard will be awarded Rounds Bought attending an Old Bastard Gathering and for enemy aircraft shot down; a Mug of Beer for a Fighter and a Pitcher of Beer for a Bomber.  Bomber Pilots will receive a Pitcher of Beer for successfully destroying targets bombed and returning from the mission alive.  50 awarded Beers will change into a Kegger of Beer

*   An Old Bastard  will receive the coveted Golden Swizzle Stick for achieving ACE status in any single flight  (5 Kills).

*   An Old Bastard will receive the dreaded Golden Turkey  for holding the friendly kill record.

       *   An Old Bastard will ALWAYS show respect, stand behind, protect, and defend his fellow Old Bastards along with upholding the spirit and integrity of being an Old Bastard.

       *   An Old Bastard will always keep laughing, enjoy life, and above all, have fun.
