-After a wild day in the American Midwest causing 40 tornado reports and hundreds of hail and wind reports it looked to be our turn. At around 7:35pm EST a brief touchdown occurred in Michigan. Things look to be great, but problem was most storms were moving NE, therefore missing Southern Ontario and more likely hitting the Thunder bay to North Bay regions. However around 2:30am a severe band on thunderstorms began forming over lake Erie. They moved NE and at around 4:15am they began hitting Toronto. The storm was intense for about 10 minutes with almost nonstop lightning. I got some great footage on film and will be sure to add my pics later. Below are some pics of the thunderstorms forming over lake erie and moving NE.
