This program concentrates on learning how to protect yourself from harmful noise in the work place that may lead to permanent hearing loss.
Included in this course is a description of how the ear works, understanding noise levels (dBA), choosing the correct hearing protection and using it properly, engineering controls, audiometric testing, and dangerous noise levels for both immediate and time weighted average exposures.
We can also include any company specific policies and procedures to be followed, and a sign off sheet for proof of training.
