Orion was designed to be practical, elegant and most of all a ship..not a hotel.

"The Gallery"

The alcoves were designed as private writing areas while the armchairs, sofas and coffee tables provided a comfortable place while being out of the way of the passing traffic. The flooring was the Australian hardwood Jarrah with fixed rugs by Marion Dorn.

 

The entry doors and foyer to the first class dining room.

 

"The Nursery"

Many a happy hour was spent here dreaming of being the Captain.
