Onas' reunion with the Teodoros
[September 28] The Onas met the Teodoros again at Higashiyama Koen's McDonald's branch after a year of not seing each other. Although the reunion went only for a short time, much of the talk centered on the progress of Connie's pregnancy, Ana Mae's experiences as a working mom for two-year old Reynan Caleb and her tips on childbirth. The Onas are godparents of Reynan Caleb, son of Ana Mae and Val Teodoro. The Onas met the Teodoros three years ago here at Nagoya University, where Val and Erwin are both Monbusho scholars. Val had just graduated from his doctoral studies in Civil Engineering last September 25. He is with the National Center for Transportation Studies in UP Diliman. Ana Mae is working in Chicago as a nurse. She is due to be sworn in as a US citizen this October 13th. [ more NESTnews ] |
