Erwin joins Asia-Pacific chem eng conference
[October 3] A week after attending a national conference on chemical engineering in Kobe, Erwin once again joins another conference this time in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is Erwin's first time to join a regional conference. He delivered a paper on Phase Change Material Solidification Enhancement Using Ultrasound at the APCChE (Asia Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering) Congress 2002. Aside from attending this academic exercise, Erwin was able to visit some sights within the City such as the Christchurch Cathedral and the Bridge of Remembrance. He was also able to experience 360 degree views of the City's Lyttelton Harbour, the Southern Alps and the Canterbury Plains by riding on the gondola. His colleague at the ResCWE, Yoshihiro Kojima also participated in the five-day conference. [ more NESTnews ] |
