The monitor resembles a television - it has a screen which displays the "picture" you look at. Screens come in a variety of sizes. Generally a 14" is the minimum size available today. Most users prefer a larger screen - such as a 15" or a 17". The price of larger screens, such as a 21", is quite expensive.
