Jon Bryan

Jon was born May 3, 1976 in San Antonio, TX. He started playing guitar age 10 and writing songs soon after under the influence of his older brother, Kevin. At age 16, Jon started singing for the punk band, American Nightmare, with fellow DT member Eric Vigil on drums. American Nightmare disbanded shortly after due to Jon moving to New York. Jon returned about six months later, eventually reuninting with Eric while forming Dreadful Thoughts. Jon had his first on-stage experience at age 13 at an "open jam night" at the Oak Hills Church of Christ, playing in his brother's band. It was that very moment Jon decided that he wanted music to be his life. He has written over 300 songs to date, owns JB productions which promotes local talent, is working on his first solo project, and continues on with his first love - Dreadful Thoughts.
