Easter Recipes ![]() Banana Breakfast Pancakes *try this recipe for an early Easter Sunday brunch!! ![]() 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal 2 tsp. Baking Powder 1 Tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Dash nutmeg 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 cup milk 1 egg 1 ripe banana, sliced 1. MIX all ingredients in medium bowl until blended using wire whisk. 2. POUR scant 1/2 cups batter onto large hot skillet sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. 3. COOK over medium-low heat until bubbles appear. Flip over with spatula. Cook until golden brown. 4. REPEAT with remaining batter, serve hot with butter and warm syrup. ![]() ![]() 1/8 tsp salt 1 1/2 - 2 cups peanut butter 4 1/2 cups icing sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 Hershey chocolate bar 1 (6oz.) pkg chocolate chips 1. Mix the eggs, salt, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla in order listed. 2. Form dough into egg shapes. 3. Melt the chocolate bar and the chocolate chips in a double boiler. 4. Dip egg shapes into chocolate mixture. Arrange on waxed paper until set. ![]() ![]() 1 can pineapple slices -- (15oz) 1/4 cup light brown sugar -- packed 1/4 cup honey Maraschino cherries whole cloves in a baking pan fat side up. 2. Cover loosely with aluminum foil; bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes a pound (or 140 degrees on meat thermometer). 3. Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup of juice. 4. Combine the reserved juice, brown sugar, and honey in a saucepan; cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. 4. Remove foil from ham; score fat in a diamond pattern. Brush ham with pineapple-honey mixture. 5. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries in a pattern over the top of the ham, securing with toothpicks. 6. Stud with cloves, if desired, and brush again with pineapple-honey mixture. 7. Bake an additional 30 minutes at 325 degrees; basting with pineapple-honey mixture. Serves about 12.
