Original Ladies Dress

After reading a romance novel, and admiring the cover art, I started designing costumes with a similar overall look. I liked the above design so much I decided to make it. The original dress had a full hoop skirt and lots of lace. I decided to make a simpler and straighter cut to save money and time. The dress is made of purple and navy cotton.
