Back in 1999 i attended the International J-Body bash in Ohio and this car took home a 5th place finish in the 3rd generation stock class
Unfortunatly this car was involved in an accident and insurance i guess didn't wanna pay to have it fixed so they deemed it a write-off. From what i heard it would have probobly costed in the neighbourhood of $10,000 to fix and there was some structural damage. On that final day it was co-incidently on it's way back to the dealer as the lease was up and the papers were signed for the new 2000 Cavalier sedan. It met it's demise with a 99 Silverado full-size at about 50kph in which the driver wasn't paying attention and took out my front passenger corner. RIP faire Z...
