A knight of the Royal Asturian Guard, Allen Shezar is both charming and handsome. He is one of the best swordsmen on Gaea and is excellent in combat when piloting his Guymelef named "Scherazade". The knight is possessed by loyalty and justice. His love is torn between Hitomi Kanzaki and Millerna Aston. |

Folken Fanel's mysterious past and his intentions towards his brother, Van Fanel, are undetermined. He is silent and draped in darkness. Having sided with the Zaibach Empire, he believed that only science and unity would save Gaea. Naria and Eriya, his faithful followers, would do anything to please him. |

Dilandau Albatou

The leader of Zaibach's Dragon Corps, Dilandau Albatou is a raging psychotic young man. He is obsessed with killing Van Fanel and Allen Shezar and will stop at nothing to accomplish this. However, even a dangerous enemy has his own past and memories to deal with. He pilots the Guymelef named "Alseides". |

Merle

An orphan from the Cat tribe, Merle is Van Fanel's faithful companion. She feels her attachment to Van is threatened as Hitomi Kanzaki increasingly becomes emotionally closer towards him. Mainly, she is the comic relief character since she is usually displayed in SD (Super-Deformed). |

Millerna Aston
|
A princess of Asturia, Millerna Aston, is the youngest daughter of its King. Well-educated and pretty, she was in love with Allen Shezar since the first time she met him. She is engaged to a wealthy merchant, Dryden Fassa, but his love for her has never been returned. |
