Today I met a lady

A lady I once knew

She has come back in my life

And the sun has come out true.

She has brought with her a tender heart

And a smile that stands out bright

I wanna get to know her

Cause I think she's almighty right.

Her name is Candy , what a girl

A smile that knocks you dead

And every word she speaks to me

I hold in my heart and take to bed

Deep within my heart, I feel

That something brought me here

I wanna find out gracefully

If what I feel has no fear

In time, I hope we come together

In love and joy and pain

I would kick myself in wondering

For if you, its my life and yours to gain

If in time we grow together

In love and harmony

I will take my pocketknife and carve it in a tree

A heart will surround our initials

and live on the side so bright

I know it will be forever

Can grow from here just right

Tears of joy brought together in a moment

To share our time so true...

The moment that we talked together

I knew it could be true

That two people can become such good friends

And the time goes by so fast

I have a feeling in my heart

Our friendship shall surely last

Tender is this moment and tender are the tears

Tenderly I wipe them off to show happiness and cheer
