Meaning - Darkling = Angel/Creature of Darkness and Shadows.

Heirachy - All true Darklings spawn from The Lord of Darkness, and are under his rule.
Types - Lord of Darkness, Elder Darkling, Revenant Darkling, Paladin Darkling, Temporal Darkling, Lesser Darkling.
Powers - Either Create shadows or manipulate them. Keen Senses, as well as speed and brute strength are also attributes depending on the type and age of the Darkling.
Weakness - As a creature of the darkness, true light and purity can be used to weaken a darkling. The damage dealt is dependent on the type of darkling and the amount of light/purity used against them..
