Ahneen!(Hi), My name is
JEFFREY LEE I am Ojibway, from the wolfclan and a member of
the Mighty Henvey Inlet First Nation in Ontario (just south of Sudbury, Ontario). I am 30 years
old and moved west from my homebase in
Ottawa, Ontario in September 1999 to pursue a career in Acting and be with my fiancee Mariel. Since that time I have been back and forth across the country fulfilling my dreams. Now back in the east again, I am building a Dance Theatre Company and being a family man

*** Will be performing for the CAP gala October 20th as well as the National Aboriginal Youth Career Symposium on the 24th.
I am proud to say I am the product of a rare healthy
cross cultural adoption, son of Bill & Cecilia Lee, which I feel gives me a unique
understanding and appreciation in life.
My parents were awesomely responsible for involving me in my natural
heritage at an early age. From this I give credit to my
adoptive parents for giving me confidence and a strong sense
of who I am as an Aboriginal person. I am a traditional dancer
and I have had the great fortune to travel and perform
internationally. I completed a tour to
Germany in 1998 which gave me a strong sense of honor and dignity as an ambassador for First Nations People.
Dancing gives me a spiritual and cultural energy where I draw strenght from to sustain my spirit and personal well being. As a traditional dancer I have several responsibilites, one of those is carrying Eagle feathers. Four years ago, I underwent several life changes that lead me to living in a "clean and healthy" lifestyle that goes well beyond just not polluting my body with negative substance.
In total I have 5 sisters, Mary Jo, Angela, Barbra, Debra & Karen. Also 2 brothers, Stacey & Stan Jr. I have 3 children, 2 step children and one on the way. My eldest daughter who I love very much but never get to see, is seven years old and an Ojibway/Mohawk. Her name is Nisagewen, or
Sage for short. Her GIVEN Names are Little Bee(Ojibway) and Tall Grass(Mohawk). I am currently preparing to obtain Access with Sage through Ontario Family Court. Her mother(visual artist Nikaa Shilling) and Sage currently reside in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. My son Griffin, who I held and loved received his Ojibway name Nodeness - Little Wind at the ceremony we had for him. He is of the Hawk clan. My step children from my fiance are Taylor (9) and Jordaine (6). Our daughter Sienna is now 8 months and doing great.
