He was gripping her hand tightly and he swore that he wouldn't let go until she wakes up. Tears were streaming down his face and they just wouldn't stop. He stopped and looked at her. Her chin length brown hair was knotty, full of dirt and hay from the fairgrounds. Kristi's normally light skin was as white as snow. Her eyes were tightly shut and her glow seemed to disapper from her body. She had a little lump on the side of head from her fall to the ground.
Dave reached over to the top of her hospital gown and pulled it up to expose her stomach. He cringed, she was so skinny thatyou could see her ribs through her skin. He took his hand and placed them around her waist, his hands were an inch away from touching each other. It was sickening how someone could do this to themself.
"Excuse me sir?", Dave turned around to find a man with a white coat on and a stethescope around his neck. He slowly walked towards the painful hearted boy.
"Yes?", Dave answered almost silently.
"Are you related to Ms. Greene?"
"Oh, no. I am very close friend of hers.", Dave replied while looking at Kristi.
"Well then because you know Ms. Greene would you like to know her status?"
"Oh yes please!"
"Well it seems as though she has suffered from bulemia and she didn't have any food in her system or any sugar in her blood so she passed out, if that continues she will not survive."
"Is there anything you can do to help her? Is she going to be alright?"
"If we can get her to eat and keep it down then I can say that she will be fine. But if she doesn't keep her food down, than her body will not get used to eating again."
"Okay, will she wake up soon?"
"I suppose so, her body was worked hard today from the report I got from the EMT's. Right now we are giving her a liquidated food in her blood stream with the IV that is hooked up to her wrist."
"Thanks Doctor um..."
"Doctor Cohen"
"Yeah, thanks Dr. Cohen"
"You're welcome son", then the doctor left the room.
"You hear that Kristi? You should be okay! I really hope that you are okay, I don't know what I'd do without you! I think I am starting to like you a lot! I mean you are funny, we have some stuff in common, and i love yuor laugh. We also have something that aren't in common, and that's good because we could learn more about ourselves that way. I sure learned something from this Kristi! Don't ever do this again!", he whispered.

Dr. Cohen went out into the waiting room and found the Moffatts, the Rosenthals, and Courtney. He explained the situation and they were relieved to hear that she wasn't in major critical care. After a few minutes Kristi's parents came running into the building, Emma balling her eyes out. The doctor quicky explained what happened to Kristi to her parents.
"Bulemia? I never would have thought Kristi would do something like that.", whispered Courtney.
"Come on everyone, we can go see her now.", stated Michelle after talking with the doctor privately.
All 11 people got up and followed Dr. Cohen to Kristi's room. When they got their they saw Dave sitting their with his face all tear stained and his hand almost white from gripping Kristi's so tightly. He looked over at them sadly.They just stood there caught up in the moment. Nobody said anything, there was to say. None of them would have ever thought that something this bad and sickening would happen to their friend.
"I'm sorry, I should have told you all sooner!", Dave cried.
"What? Dave what are you talking about?", questioned Sheila.
"I knew, I knew the whole time what she was doing. I swore to her that I wouldn't tell anyone but I made her promise me that if I kept her secret safe that she would stop after she lost a few pounds."
"Oh Dave, this isn't your fault! Kristi made a bad decision to do this to herself. True, you should have told someone but this isn't your fault!", Sheila tried to sooth him. Dave just sat there and cried silenly.

Scott and Bob got hungry so they went to the cafeteria. They didn't say anything, they just sat there thinking.
"How could she do this to herself? I can't even imagine how she feels. She really shouldn't compare herself to other people. She isn't and wasn't fat or chubby. What made her think that?", said Scott.
"I have no idea. I just hope that she's alright. I mean she could die. That's how threatening this syndrom is on people! It's just sad that she couldn't talk to people, she had to fix this situation the way she thought would be best!", replied Bob.
"Hm, yeah"

"Ugh!", they heard someone moan.
"Kristi!", they shouted.
"Ugh, hi guys", she said hoarsely.
"Kristin Nicole whatever made you go bulemic?", cried Emma.
"I don't know Mom, I just felt that I was too big, not pretty enough."
"Kristi, Sweetheart, you know that isn't true. You are very beautiful inside and out! I'm sure that anyone would see both sides too! How could they not? Hehe, Kristi, I'm very disappointed in you! From now on you should talk to me about these things instead of doing what you know is wrong. Kristi you could've died! Oh Sweetheart I love you so much!"
Everyone got into conversation with Kristi. All sympathetic and encouraging remarks being made. Kristi admired everyone at that moment, they encouraged her on being beautiful rather than doing he wrong thing.
A blond male nurse came in with a tray of some food. A jello, some apple sauce, and a couple pancakes with syrup. The doctors needed to see if she could digest easy food first before getting her into complicated meals. Everyone looked at Kristi eagerly as if to promote her to do what she knew she had to do. As Kristi raised a spoonful of green jello to her mouth everyone heard a blood chilling scream.
"AAAHHHHHHHH!"
"Oh my G-d! Zoey what's wrong!", Sabrina screamed.
"I think I'm having the baby!!"
