GZA was one of the founding members of Wu-Tang.
He had a solo career in 1991, when he was signed to Cold Chillin'.
The company messed him around and he heavily disses them in the song Labels, on Liquid Swords.
He was in the group All In Together Now with RZA and Dirty.
Words From The Genius was re-released in 1994, only the track Come Do Me had been replaced by Pass The Bone which featured RZA.
GZA is the oldest member of the Wu, and is sometimes referred to as the grandfather of the group.

Inspectah Deck is best known for his opening verse on Protect Ya Neck and Triumph.
His highly-anticipated solo debut was
originally scheduled to be released before the release of Wu-Tang Forever.
He produced the song Visionz on Wu-Tang's second album, Wu-Tang Forever.
He has also produced tracks on The Swarm and T2000:
Judgement Day He is also producing his
own album and parts of Rae's album Blood On Chef's Apron.
Deck takes the name Fifth Brother from the film Hell's Wind Staff.
In the film there are the first, second, third and forth brothers - but no fifth.

Meth, alongside Dirty is probably the most-recognised member of the Wu.

and some think it's better than Wu-Tang Forever.
Rae is a vegetarian and has a diet of fish and vegetables.

He takes the name Golden Arms from the kung-fu film Kid With The Golden Arm.
He is also known as Baby-U because he is the youngest member of the Clan.
U-God appeared on only two songs on the 36 Chambers album, Da Mystery Of Chessboxin' and Protect Ya Neck.
U-God's son Dante was shot while playing outside his babysitter's house in 1994.
The bullet destroyed a kidney and damaged a hand.

Ghostface Killah

Ghost was in the group All In Together Now with RZA, GZA and ODB.
He has diabetes, which can cause his weight to fluctuate. His brother,
Davon, died of muscular dystrophy in 1994 and Ghost dedicated his album Ironman to his memory.
He was arrested in December 1997 for carrying a gun in his car and is currently
doing time for a previous conviction. His son plays a young Ghostface in the video for All That I Got Is You,
which is on Ironman. Ghost is also the half-cousin of Raekwon.
He took his name from the Ghost Faced Killer in the kung-fu film Mystery of Chess Boxing.

He took his name from the kung-fu film The Master Killer. If you're thinking of buying his song Secret Rivals off his website then don't because no-one who has ordered has received anything, yet their cheque was cashed.

O'l Dirty Bastard

Dirty, along with Meth, is probably the best-known
member of the Wu. He is cousins with GZA and RZA, and
was in the group All In Together Now with GZA, RZA and
Ghost. He is known as the "mad one" of the Clan
because of his actions. During an interview with
Meth,
ODB kept on interrupting him, saying that if he died,
the CIA did it. When asked why he kept on interrupting
Meth, he said that what he said wouldn't be shown if
he said it another time. He also got up on stage
during the 1998 Grammy Awards and said that Wu-Tang is
for the children. Dirty says that he never hides
anything because he doesn't care. ODB is the only
member of Wu-Tang to come from Brooklyn - the
remaining eight come from Staten Island. It is
possible that he took is name from the kung-fu film
Bastard Swordsman. He took the name of his solo debut
from the film Return To The 36th Chamber. Dirty also
released and EP in 1996 entitled O.D.B.E.P. It was
only released in Japan and includes different versions
of six songs. Dirty once said, "You're never gonna see
any talent like this again in your life" And he's right.

RZA is already a legend in hip-hop, and is said to be the leader
of the Wu. He takes the name Abbott from kung-fu films. In these
films, the Abbott was the chief monk. Before The Cure, his debut
solo album is released, he released RZA as Bobby Digital In
Stereo - the accompanying soundtrack to his upcoming film Bobby
Digital In Stereo. In the film, which is going straight to
video, RZA plays the superhero Bobby Digital. RZA is the
producer for Wu-Tang and helped in producing most of the Wu-Family
albums. He has produced all the Wu-solos before Wu-Tang Forever.
RZA co-founded the group Gravediggaz with Prince Paul of
Stetsasonic. RZA adopted the name Rzarector, and Prince Paul
