I've been in the SCA for at least seven years now. I recieved my AOA (award of arms) a few years
ago. This allows me to use the title Lady before my name. If I get a chace I will scan the scroll and
put it on line. Two wonderful ladies put a good deal of work into it. And with all things int he SCA,
this was voulintary work.
Reciently I managed to get my armour together and authorize as a fighter. It's been great fun,
and thankfully I've gotten no new burises in the month of june. I'm really looking forward to attending
Pennsic War XXX this summer. To actually be part of the fighting I watched last summer. WOW, what
an experiance that will be.
Also this fall it is likely I will be taking over as Barional Seneschal for the Barony of Rasmsaven.
Guess I'll be busy again. At least from what I hear from their current Seneschal, it's not too much work
and not at all stressful.

The SCA (Socitey for Creative Anachronism), is a
non profit group, that recreates the best parts of the middle ages. The time period they cover
is aproximatly 600 to 1600. This is a world wide group, with the head office in California.
It was started in the late 1960's as a costume party, and has come a long way since then. I
joined in the early 1990's, and have been a paid member for aproximatly 5 years now.
