BBS or Bulitin Board System. BBS's have mostly died out since the internet has happened. To me they are a reminder of my highschool days. It was a place where people could chat (similar to ICQ), post msg, both public and private. There were games to play... but most of all it was a place we had fun with.... well, most of the time ;)

One BBS I remember lasting the longest was PD BBS, or Paranormal Discussions. Since it's demise, it's owner had put up a web site and the bbs on the internet.
