The Fate Of A Firefighter

When the whistle blows in the middle of the night
Will this be the one that takes my life

When I enter a burning blaze
Everythings dark, and I'm in a daze

The smoke and hear, they make me weary
Will I escape this burning fury

I Trust my partner with my life
He trusts me with his and so does his wife

If for some reason I never come out
Please don't let there be any doubt
I gave my life to save a child
Man.......Is this wild!!!

So if I die, please nobody cry
When you think of me just look to the sky

And when the whistle blows
And you start to feel sad
Just remember, I saved a child
And his parents are glad!
