Falling Leaves at Autumn

Everything for me and Vinci went okay until May 2001.... As I was enjoying the peaceful life in Newtown with him, he is starting to think otherwise... I noticed that he started to stay quiet... When we watched TV together at night, he always got himself into deep thought.. I respected his privacy by not asking... But the more I stay quiet, the further away he drifted...

Everything came to the open on Mother's Day 2001.... He was suppose to pick me up from my parents' place on Mother's Day... I waited and waited... until 9pm, he finally calls me... From that phonecall, I know he was drunk.. He told me he's busy and cannot pick me up... He asked me to go home by myself and he will come home late... I asked where he is and what he is doing.. He didn't say anything...

He didn't came home that night... The next morning when he finally came home.. He didn't say anything... He pretended nothing had happened... I tried to ask him about the night before but he didn't answer me.... I know that something serious is going to happen between us but the fact that he keep his mouth close doesn't help solve the problem at all....

From then on, everything started to deteriorate for our relationship... He started to miss dinners with me, leaving me at home alone most of the time...

From bits and pieces, I finally got a clearer picture of what is going on... He has been spending time with this girl named Janice... A girl that he used to chase many years ago but failed in his attempts... Janice broke up with her boyfriend in early 2001... To Vinci, maybe this is a good chance to go after her again... Maybe this is something has to do with a guy's ego... You always wanna to accomplish something you have always wanna... Because of that, I have once again became the victim of another relationship...
