After lunch on 5th October, 2000... Everything progressed really quickly... just like the common Chinese saying, "we walked 1000 miles in one day"....

Everything started to get obvious, especially one morning when I arrived at work... There was an envelope on my desk with my name on it... When I opened it, it was a travelten... Although, he did not left any messages, I know it was him... On the very first time we had lunch together, I asked him how I can get to uni at night from our workplace.... That day I got the travelten from him was the first day I will be going into uni after work.... I didn't expect he will remember, so I was quite happy about it.... Throughout the week, he did many little things for me... It is impossible for me to tell you everything in that week... all I can say is, he was very caring and considerate...

At the same time, I heard people in my workplace talking about him... Everything I heard was positive... People were telling me how funny and smart he is.... how polite he speaks to people, etc, etc.... How can I not fell into his trap??

On the night of 9th October, 2001... He finally asked me to give him a chance... a chance to be with me... a chance to give me happiness.... I told him I don't know him well enough to be with him.... In fact, I only know him in person for one week... He said, it doesn't matter.... He asked me to give him 3 months probation... I didn't accept his offer but I also did not reject.... Deep inside me, I was really confuse... To be honest, I know I am starting to like this guy.... but I didn't expect to be with him so soon....

On the next day, we had lunch together... He bought me burgers and fries from Hungry Jacks at Wynyard station... Then we ate together at the open area above the food court of Australia Square.... Throughout lunch, he kept nagging me to have dinner with him that night... I said no, because I have to go home and I left my car at the train station... I cannot just leave it there for so long.... He said he can take care of that....

We left work together that day at 5pm... This is really unusual for him because everyday he will stay behind til 7pm.... We took the bus together to USyd and picked up his car.... he drove me to the train station near my home so that I can move my car back to my home... I can still remember he played the soundtrack of "The File of Justice" in his car... After that, we had Thai food together in a restaurant near his home.... Throughout the day, we have been chatting and chatting non-stop... as if we cannot wait to find out more about each other...

After dinner, he took me to visit his home which is only a few streets away... He illegally parked his car in the apartment's car park... When I got off his car, he held my hand tightly... that was the first time he held my hand... The very first sign of us being together...

He lives in the top floor of the apartment... The very first thing I noticed when I got into his home is the view... It was not a perfect view of the city... but instead on looking the airport side of Sydney... Being the tallest building in this area, you feel that there is nothing blocking in front of you... He then showed me photos... photos of his childhood, graduations, friends and ex-girlfriends.... He drove me back home afterwards...

10th October, 2000, that was a very memorable day of our relationship...
