It is my dream to study architecture since I was very little... I found that I have this interest even in early childhood.. Instead of drawing dolls, sun and trees, I used to draw lots and lots of houses on paper when I was very little.. I've made up my mind to study hard in order to get into a good university to study architecture.... It was my worry that I cannot get into this course because of the high marks I have to achieve...

However, my dream was broken simply because I chose to be a good behave girl at home... My parents were totally opposed to this idea.. They think studying architecture is not suitable for me because it is a 5 year course, it uses a lot of money... and most of all, very hard to find work after graduation... I really don't wanna to argue with my parents... and I hate to do something that they will say many bad things later throughout my life... I just wanna them to be happy and don't need to worry about me...

In the end, I changed my degree to Economics in USyd... I was very lonely because all my friends studied in UNSW... I was the only one who went to USyd.. It was hard for me at first because studying Economics is something out of my imaginations... Thus, I entered this uni without knowing anybody... I did meet some people eventually... But they were not true friends... They were the ones that comes into your life at certain time because we crossed each others' roads at the right time... However, after we passed that part of the road, we will never know where they went.... so realistic...

It is at this time, that I realised how precious friendship are for me with my old high school friends... Although, we went to different universities and studied different courses, we still managed to see each other often... Thus, realising how important it is to keep this friendship going...

From all my high school friends, I think Berni is always my favourite.. Because throughout all the years we've known each other, she's always the same Berni I know so many years ago... We've been through a lot together... We have shared so many laughter and tears.. Whatever happens, she has always treated me with kindness... I know she will be my best of friends for life...

I am glad to say that I have more than one good friends in life... and what makes our friendships more special is that, we have known each other for so many years... and yet, we are still very close to each other... I don't have a lot of achievements in life... but I am proud to say that at least I have a few very close friends that stand by me all my time.. This is the greatest achievement so far in my life...
