FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:
Choose your search word(s) or phrase that best represent the information for which you're looking and type same in the search box.
Choose the method you'd like to use to look up your subject checking one or both of the small boxes just below the search box.
The best choice would be to choose the search as phrase option.
Now search the Web.
Click the "Search" button.
REFINING YOUR SEARCH:
Choose
your words carefully.
Be as specific as possible.
When searching, consider
words you might use to describe a subject
if you were the author of a web site.
When looking for a specific phrase
select the "Phrase Search" option.
Often you will be searching
for a word pattern that appears exactly as you have typed it. Choose the "Phrase
Search" option in order to obtain that exact sequence. That is to say use the quote marks prior to and ending the phrase you insert in the search box: i.e.:"Four Score and Seven Years Ago".
This is the way to look for a particular name or exact sequence of words.
To
exclude words from the query use the minus
(-) symbol in front of the word or phrase to eliminate that term.
Use the plus
(+)
symbol to identify "needed" words or phrases.
The search engine will add a plus by default, so again, pick your words carefully.
