Electric Kiss

Suddenly, Mulder awakened in a hospital bed after a long, deep, endless sleep. The side of his
face stung a little. He smiled remembering how he got the kiss. After he kissed Scully she
slapped him. Only, it wasn;t Scully, gosh he was confused.
"Mulder, it's me," Scully cooed to him, brushing the hair from his face. He loved those brief
touches she occasionally gave him.
"Scully, what happened?" Mulder asked.
"You did something very stupid. You're okay though, and that's what matters," Scully smiled,
holding his hand.
"You were there Scully. You were with me, you saved the world!" Mulder sat up in his bed.
"It didn't happen Mulder. It was a dream," Scully tried to explain, but she knew there was no
convincing Mulder otherwise.
"But," Mulder tried to protest.
"Give it up Mulder. Just go back to sleep, you need your rest," Scully said turning to leave his
room.
"Wait, Scully," Mulder cried after her. She walked back next to his bad again.
"Yes," Scully said, getting extremely close to his face, sending shivers down Mulder's spine. He
thought of how he could get away with kissing her like that.
"Sit down next to me," Mulder patted the bed next to him. Scully did as he said and sat down.
Suddenly Mulder wrapped his arms around her.
"Mulder, what are you doing?" Scully asked as she tried to break free of his embrace.
"Stay, there's something I need to tell you," Mulder looked deep into Scully's eyes. His eyes
overtook her and made her stay. Everything about him shined through his eyes.
"I love you Scully," Mulder said slowly.
"Mulder, oh brother," Scully started to get up again, but Mulder pulled her back down. He got
her where he wanted her, and he wasn't going to let her go.
"Scully, I mean it. Right from the start I fell in love with your beauty and your intelligence. But
then as time went on and you had you cancer, and Emily died, both of our sister and both of our
fathers are gone. The way we comforted each other, I fell in love with you heart Scully. I truly
love you," Mulder said in a low voice, almost a whisper, kissing every inch of her face. He
kissed her forehead, her cheeks, he kissed her nose, her ears, her eyelids but he stopped right in
from of her lips.
"There was something I wanted to give you in the hallway that night," Mulder said before he
placed his warm, full lips upon her's. Scully froze for a few seconds to register what was
happening. But she returned the kiss as she wrapped her arms behind his neck and opened her
mouth to allow access of his "so ready" tongue. They shed 6 years of love, lust and pure
emotion in that one "electric kiss".
"I love you too," Scully breathed in Mulder's ear after they separated. It definitely wasn't over,
their lives had just began....
