Saturn




Saturn is the second largest planet in our soloar system. It is the sevent furthesr from the Sun and is beautiful to see because it has hundreds of bands of rings orbiting around it as well as countless satellites (moons).

At present (Nov. 99), in England, Saturn is visible in the Eastern direction moving Southwards as the night progresses. It is quite high above the horizon but not directly up. It is left and down fromt he brightest star in the sky, Jupiter.
