Who's Darth Maul?! Who's Darth Maul?! What's wrong with you people. Haven't you seen Episode I. Maul wouldn't be very happy if he found out. Darth Maul is one of the most powerful and evil Dark Lords of Sith ever. He is introduced in Episode I as Darth Sidious' apprentice. He is sent to kill the two Jedis, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, after they interfered. Darth Maul tracks them to Tatooine where he has a brief battle with Qui-Gon before he escapes from Maul in aboard his ship. As you can see from the pictures, he has a double-bladed lightsaber, not unlike Exar Kun's, which he can use with great accuracy. At the end of the movie, Maul finally gets his hands on the Jedi scum and gets in an awesome lightsaber battle, during which he is double-teamed by the Jedis. He kills Qui-Gon by stabbing him through with his lightsaber, while Obi-Wan is temporarily trapped behind a force field. When Obi gets free they continue to fight. Maul knocks him down into a hole where Obi barely hangs on from a protrusion on the side. Obi loses his saber which is then kicked down the hole by Maul. Maul, thinking that he had won the battle, let his guard down. It was then that Obi, with the Force's help, jumps out of the hole, grabs Qui-Gon's saber, and slices Maul in half. As Maul begins to fall down the hole, he comes apart and you see his halfs fall separately. Well, that's about all the info I know about the man that is Darth Maul. I believe that Maul should have survived and come back in the next movies. I think that it was unfair that he had to fight both of the Jedis and he could have taken them both one at a time. Despite this fact, Maul still put up one heck of a fight and managed to at least take out one of the Jedis. Obi-Wan survived, but was close to also being destroyed by the great Sith Lord.

Real Name: Khamier Sarin
Age: 30-35yrs.old
Species: Zabrak
Homeplanet: Iridonia

He has been training with Darth Sidious since he was 12yrs. old. The tattoos that cover his face are not traditional for his species. They are based on a race known for its fierce warriors.

As for him returning in the next movie, the answer is yes. Sidious believed so much in his power and abilities that he clones him. The only difference is that he is a little more muscular and bigger.
