Lia'Nyota
Lia'Nyota (or Lia, as she is known by her friends) is a lioness cub of Pride Rock. She is the daughter of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, but she was born after Mufasa's death. Since Scar is now ruler of the Pridelands, Lia is still a princess, but she is not heir to the throne. Her mother named her Lia'Nyota, a name meaning "the roar of the stars", in hopes that her brother (Simba is thought dead at the time) and father's spirits would watch over the child and keep her from harm. Sarabi lost her beloved husband, son, and kingdom all at once. She could not lose her daughter as well.Lia is one shade darker than her brother's golden color and is easily mistaken for him from a distance. However, when you come face to face with the young cub, you can see the eyes of her mother. Being one of the only other cubs at the time, Lia and Nala, even though Nala is older than Lia, became close friends and the two are inseperable.
