Evil In The Wind

The following was on the back of "Sixty-Six". Italics are notes that he had written to me on the sides.

Janet,

I guess I'll use this space to write in since this envelope is overstuffed. I know you've been waiting for this crap for awhile. This is about 1/20th of what I call completed writings. Someday I'll dig out the rest and review it. I hope everything is going okay with you. I've been doing better mentally, I guess closure is at hand or I'm just tired of self pitty. I've been working wierd hours; 1 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. etc. This has both stressed me ot and helped me find redemption. I find writing helps me vent when anxiety hits --

Well, till next time

I'm the evil in the wind, I know where you have been.
No remorse or retreat, cover th remains in a sheet
You are the muse that calmed the beast
You are the law that keeps the peace
On the dunes the sun glares down
In the forest I am lost, you're the one who marks with moss
In the ocean vast and wide, you're the maker of high tide
Your swaying arms swirl the currents of time
You're away in some frame mind

The three men I respect the most, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
But they fell victim on the coast and slipped into the sea
And as I closed my eyes to pray
A note said, "come back another day"
Life always seems to go that way
The night was dim and without a care
The host was lovely so I stared
And the music began to play
We danced with the morning light, and I knew everything would be alright.
