Parallel freeviewing
This method of viewing the following 3-D pictures involves RELAXING your eyes and letting your gaze drift off into the distance. Try the following steps.

1. Sit squarely in front of your monitor.
Notice the "O" and "X" above the first picture.
2. Let your eyes relax as if you're staring into the distance beyond your monitor. The "O" and the "X" will appear to move towards one another.
3. See if you can "put the X inside the O." When this happens, look at the picture directly below and it will be in 3-D (it will appear to be the middle of three side-by-side pictures).
4. It takes a little practice, so don't give up if it takes a few tries. This method of freeviewing is the exact opposite of the cross-eyed method presented on the first page.

Note: Setting screen resolution at 1024 X 768 on a 17" monitor will place the picture centers just over 3.5 inches apart. Parallel freeviewing is feasible at this size, but a screen resolution of 800 X 600 may place the centers too far apart to be "doable.".
