Shinra, Inc. is ran at first by Rufus' father, but he gets killed by Sephiroth. So Rufus is now President of Shinra, Inc. and other people belonging to Shinra are Scarlet, Heideggar, Scarlet, Palmer, and Reeve. They have specially made Reactors called Mako Reactors to suck the Planet's Mako energy out so they can get money for it. And AVALANCHE are trying to destroy Shinra, Inc.
The Turks
Also the Turks are a group from Shinra that do kidnapping, in other words they do the dirty work for Shinra.
Tseng
He is the leader of the Turks, and also was a childhood friend of Aeris'.
Reno
Another member of the Turks, he usually just talks about girls to Rude.
Rude
Usuaally with Reno, or Elena he is the strongest of the 4.
Elena
The newest member to the Turks, since Tseng got injured she was able to join, and usually says things to your party she should keep to herself.
