Scratch22's (Homer's) Fly -- Fly was primarily a rescue from a place down in Oklahoma. She came to us in poor shape and totally unsocialized, however after plenty of good food and some basic medical care, she became weel adjusted to our place and lived out the rest of her years a happy dog.

Chain Reaction--Losing Chainey was truely devastating to me. It will take me a long time to get over. She lived with me from the time I bred her until she was eight years old. In the process of stealing our dog, Elsinor, the thieves released Chainey's daughter Raven. The thieves than left with our dog Elsi, and left Chainey and Raven fighting. This resulted in both dogs being seriously injured. Chainey never fully recovered from her injuries. A loss that I feel every day. We never discovered the identity of the people responsible for this.

We just recently lost our dog Sledge to what I consider to be veterinary negligence. We took her right from the emergency vet that had her overnight to a second vet who could not save her. I am still devastated, especially after losing her mother earlier this year. It has been very difficult to lose these dogs that I have had since the day they were born, and even more difficult when you thought you did the right thing by seeking veterinary care, only to have your dog be in worse condition when you picked her up then when you dropped her off.
