This image is an experiment with Photoshop. I started with angle gradient at about 30% - 40% transparent, layer by layer until those layers produced nice effect when blended with different mode of blending. And later the colors were adjusted with 'levels' and 'curves' menu. The spheroid were generated by KPT wide option of spheroid.
