Soundtrack To Da Streetz. Official launch of
OPE ENTERTAINMENT.
1997. NO RELEASES. Produced 2 songs that
became underground favorites in NYC. SPARRING
SESSION by SOUTHPAW (now known as BENJAMIN
HOOKS), Which was played on one local
cable/college radio station for 17 weeks. I'M
ON TA DAT! by CHRIS DUBBS was played on the
Hot 97 Home Jams show in NYC EVERY Sunday for
7 MONTHS.
Feb. 1998. Produced the PACK FM track HIT
LIST which made the airwaves on the HOT 97
Home Jams show in NYC for the final 4 weeks
of the show's existence.
May 1998. OPE ENTERTAINMENT releases the
12" single I'M ON TA DAT! backed with a
B-side song titled LIFESTYLES OF THE POOR
WIT' A FORTUNE. Song features CHRIS DUBBS,
PACK FM, BENJAMIN HOOKS, and OPE aka
O*ASIATIC.
July. 1999. Produced and released OPE
ENTERTAINMENT's first Rap Duo BQE (BROOKLYN
QUEENS IS ENOUGH!). Songs available through
the INTERNET and the streets. First project
from OPE ENTERTAINMENT released to ON LINE
consumers before it hit the streets. Two
joints from underground favorite PACK FM also

July 1999. Releases Sneak Preview track
titled Ready Fo'ya Head! on MP3.COM to much
good praise. Song Eventually reaches FEATURED
ARTIST and #1 spot on the East Coast chart,
as well as winning the 1st YoMp3Raps Hip Hop
QUOTABLE tightest verse competition.
Aug. 1999. Ready Fo'ya Head! reaches #2
requested Hip Hop song on XERADIO, an Mp3
radio site.
