Orange~ Orange's are always male. Orange Fire-Lizards possess a normal amount of magical ability and have the powers of light. These Fire-Lizards are strong, but do not like to test out that strength(most all Fire-Lizards don't like fighting, but will resort to it if nessescary). Oranges tend to want to lead others. Orange's are not rare.
Teal~ Teal's are always male. Teal's have a high magic ability and possess the powers of air. Teal's are strong but usually rely on they're magic more than their strength. Usually you will find teal's showing off their flying skills or resting somewhere quiet, they tend to enjoy simpler things in life. Teal's are not rare.
**HEHE THAT ONCE WAS ME** "Yes we know little one....you just think about hatching right now." Ducky replied.
Swallow flew Sunlight and here is the flight. Ducky sat on the edge of the lake with her five flits. Gold sunlight squacked and flew up to an overhanging branch. ~~something stirs within me~~She sent to ducky.
"What? what do you mean my pretty?" ducky questioned. ~~I know not...just that something must be done about it. I must look good though no matter what I do! What is happening? There is a feeling...a lust for flying!~~ The gold began to preen franticly.
**this is odd. I have never had any of my flits feel this before** thought Ducky. Ducky shook her head and picked up the preening gold, placed her on her sholder and called for the males to join her. The did and perched on her other sholder outstreched arm and several on her head. **I will go ask Katie about this. She will know what is going on. I hope it is not serious!** Ducky worried. When she reached Katie and explained what her gold had said Katie informed Ducky about mating and flights with males and females. Ducky gasped, "Oh my gosh! I left her out there with all those males!!! what if they..." Ducky ran from the room just in time for her to see her gold sunlight streeking into her namesake. She screeched and the four males followed her. Starry cove flits from around the cove joined Ducky's males in the air after the female.
" No! I am too late to stop her! She will get hurt!" Ducky wailed.
"No. She will be fine...this is a natural thing that happens. No big deal...and think. You will bring eggs home!" Katie reausured Ducky.
"Eggs? Oh. I like eggs. as long as she will not be harmed...let the flight continue!" Ducky replied.
Katie laughed."You have no choice in the matter...she would have flown whether you wanted ot or not. Look...the first wave of males are on her tail now!"
Ducky whipped her head up to look at her golden blur in the sky. She shielded her eyes from the brilience being reflected from her Sunlight's hide.
Sunlight knew now what she must do. She must not let those males catch her! She pinned back her wings and dove for the small area of trees. She swooped down into the under cover and stayed out of the sight of the males. She did a loop-t-loop and came out of the trees behind the males. They squacked in fustration. ~~Got them!!!~~ Sunlight cried gleefully to Ducky.
Sunlight suddenly saw Ebony one of her own, living companions nearly grab her tail. She cried in an outrage and used her powers of the sun to temporarity blind him. Ebony screamed and fell to a branch where he clawed at his eyes till they recovered. Unfortuneately...he had fallen to far behind and gave up hope.
~~I lost her Ducky. She used her magic. I wish I had thought of making shadows come...for look. Swallow is doing that now as he catches up. It's not fair!~~
**Well prehaps he will thankyou for him being able to learn from your mistakes..prehaps is he flys her he will let you look after the eggs** Ducky consoled the black.
*harder faster harder faster. must fly high and strong!* sunlight thought to herself. An unknown Silver male swooped down onto swallow and flushed him out with his wings. Sunlight screamed, ~~noo you will not fly me! Silver. humph!~~ She then dove down and swooped back up leaving the silver to cuddle with his owner feling rejected.
There was only eight flits left. Little Petrified the orange gave up and flew down to Ducky saying, ~~Golds are pompus...I didn't want to mate with her anyway! so there!!~~ Ducky laughed ans stroked her little baby. "It's ok you can try next time"" she cooed.
Teal Topaz whirled apon a crimson male and took him down with a surrounding of mist. He had enough energy and magic to take down the white and brown males as well. there were 4 flits left. Topaz was nearly run out so he grabbed a bronze's tail as he dived down. The bronze was furious and scratched poor Topaz badly. Topaz knew he had stopped the bronze from winning so he let go and flew down to Ducky for comfort.
Sunlight flew into the trees once again. Unfortuneately she forgot about the powers of the shadow in these shadded places. Swallow, hidden in shadow jumped her from behind when she paused to catch her breath.
~~NEVER!!!!!~~ Sunlight screamed. With all her magic she called apon the sun to shine down and get the black from her back. The black called the night to fall and push the sun from the sky. In the end neither power won as the sun was covered a little and the shade grew more. it became hazy. black and gold merged body began to stop soaring amoungsth the trees so the black held on tight with his back claws to his prize. The black gripped with his front claws onto a tree so stop their downward plummet. ~~KIIEEEAAAAAAAA!!!~~ He cried. ~~I have won.~~ Sunlight stoped sturggling. ~~ you won fair and high. You flew me well. I will lay eggs...you will be a father. be happy my beautiful black.~~
"I don't know about you swallow...but I sure am happy!" Ducky cried with tears of joy in her eyes. "My little babies are growing up. I am going to be a grand-owner! of a good sized clutch!"
All fire lizards and people went back to their respective homes to wait to see what the golden flit would lay in the days to come.
Actually the gold laied the largest clutch a black and gold could lay...9 eggs. We are keeping two eggs a rare green male and a hybred! It is the only one of it's kind and it is male!
